Are you an experienced professional in galvanic plating processes and ready to take your technical knowledge to the next level? At KGS DIAMOND, we are looking for an Electroplating Engineer who will not only guarantee the quality and efficiency of our plating processes, but also contribute to innovations within the industry.

Objective

As an Electroplating Engineer at KGS DIAMOND, you are THE technical point of contact within our plating department. You ensure quality, innovation, and continuous process improvement—with plenty of room to realize your technical vision.

The role

The Electroplating Engineer is the driving force behind the improvement of these (galvanic) processes and, together with your colleagues, you are responsible for high-quality output. You will work together with production colleagues, technical services, and R&D and be closely involved in innovations and product development. In this position, you will be part of the Technical Team and report to the managing director. You will also be responsible for:

  • Developing new plating processes and improving existing methods;
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues;
  • Translating innovations into practical applications on the work floor;
  • Carrying out R&D and reporting (including WBSO administration);
  • Maintaining contact with suppliers and making proposals for process improvements;
  • Collaborating in multidisciplinary teams to accelerate technical innovation.

This role offers plenty of room for initiative, technical development, and growth.

Your profile

You are a driven and quality-conscious engineer with knowledge and experience in galvanic production. You are a problem solver, strongly collaborative, and want to make a real impact within an innovative international organization. You also have the following qualities:

  • HBO working and thinking level in mechanical engineering or chemical technology;
